Privacy policy

Summary

ShifaDaily keeps your health information on your phone. We do not collect, receive or sell any personal data.

The app

The app stores the medications you enter (name, dose, schedule, notes), your dose history and its change log, your pantry, food preferences and allergies, saved recipes and settings, only in the app's private storage on your device.

The app has no internet permission. It sends nothing to us or anyone else. It contains no account system, advertising, analytics or crash-reporting SDK.

App data is excluded from Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer. You can export a readable copy (you choose where it is saved) or erase everything from Settings. Uninstalling also deletes the data.

Data is protected by Android's app sandbox and your device's storage encryption. ShifaDaily does not add its own encryption layer, so anyone who can unlock your phone, or a rooted or compromised device, may access it. Please use a screen lock.

Reminder notifications hide medication details on the lock screen by default (subject to your phone's lock-screen settings).

This website

The website is a static site. It uses no cookies, analytics, advertising or third-party scripts, and has no forms that collect data.

The hosting provider (GitHub Pages) and the file host for the APK (GitHub Releases) process technical data such as IP addresses in their server logs to deliver pages and files. See GitHub's privacy statement for details.

Support requests

If you open an issue on GitHub, its content is public and governed by GitHub's terms. Never include health information or personal details in an issue.

Children

ShifaDaily is not designed for children.
